{"id":15421,"date":"2014-11-15T22:18:49","date_gmt":"2014-11-16T03:18:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.kenperlin.com\/?p=15421"},"modified":"2014-11-15T22:18:49","modified_gmt":"2014-11-16T03:18:49","slug":"brandon-part-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.kenperlin.com\/?p=15421","title":{"rendered":"Brandon, part 15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Charlotte&#8217;s mother was incensed.  &#8220;Whoever you are, I don&#8217;t think you have the right to just barge in and start arresting people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ma&#8217;am,&#8221; Captain Rosenkranz said, &#8220;I&#8217;m going to have to ask you to back away.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mom!&#8221; Charlotte said, &#8220;Don&#8217;t you know who these soldiers are?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Who are they?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They&#8217;re from the Literary Violations Bureau.&#8221;  Charlotte looked at Captain Rosenkranz with a mixture of awe and dread.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Wow,&#8221; said Charlotte&#8217;s dad, &#8220;I&#8217;d heard about these people, but I didn&#8217;t think they were real.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Real is relative,&#8221; said the cat.<\/p>\n<p>Pointedly ignoring this last comment, Charlotte turned to the captain.  &#8220;But why are you coming after us?  We haven&#8217;t done anything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He has,&#8221; Captain Rosenkranz said, pointing at Brandon, who was starting to look very pale, even for a ghost.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Brandon?  Whatever you think he did, I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;s innocent.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh, is that what you call him?
