The ordinary and the odd,
\nEach one, I think, should get a nod.
\nThe ordinary has its place
\nWith steady calm its saving grace.<\/p>\n
And yet it seems if that were all
\nThe world would then be rather small.
\nWith nothing odd to shake our tree
\nOur life could not be truly free.<\/p>\n
For nothing jogs our intellect
\nLike something we did not expect,
\nAnd times when we are at our best
\nAre when our hearts are filled with zest,<\/p>\n
For oddness is a dynamo!
\nBut then again, it’s good to know
\nThat ordinary’s OK too.
