I made a nice simple demo

\nI should have stopped there
\nMy brain said “beware!”
\nBut my ego did not get the memo<\/p>\n
I kept gilding my demo with features
\nLike colors and various creatures
\nIt became quite enhanced
\nAnd very advanced
\nI was swinging way out for the bleachers<\/p>\n
But then my poor demo stopped working
\n‘Cause somewhere a bug was now lurking
\nIt was very disarming
\nAnd not all that charming
\nFrankly, I found it quite irking<\/p>\n
Losing features is not so much fun
\nBut at least now I’ve got it to run
\nWhen faced with reality
\nI chose functionality
