Bob Dylan&#8217;s <i>Don&#8217;t Think Twice, It&#8217;s All Right<\/i> was written in 1962 and released in 1963.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s impossible to listen to the two songs without noticing their uncanny musical similarity. Also, like <i>Forbidden Road<\/i>, both the Bob Dylan song and the Fox\/Gimbel song prominently feature the imagery of roads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nI walked along a forbidden road<br \/>\nI had to know where does it go<br \/>\nLike birds that fly into the sun<br \/>\nI had to run, I&#8217;m not the only one<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Forbidden Road (Williams 2024)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\nLike the pine trees lining the winding road<br \/>\nI got a name, I got a name<br \/>\nLike the singing bird and the croaking toad<br \/>\nI got a name, I got a name<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; I&#8217;ve Got a Name (Fox\/Gimbel 1973)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\nI\u2019m walkin\u2019 down that long, lonesome road, babe<br \/>\nWhere I\u2019m bound, I can\u2019t tell<br \/>\nBut goodbye\u2019s too good a word, gal<br \/>\nSo I\u2019ll just say fare thee well<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Don&#8217;t Think Twice, It&#8217;s All Right (Dylan 1962)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The enormously influential album that the Dylan song appears on is called <i>The Freewheeling Bob Dylan<\/i>, and Suze Rotolo appears on the cover.
