I’d never been to Monterey until now. There is something about the place – the sparkle of the sun on the water, the salt breeze off the ocean, the sea lions and their unending conversation, that gives this little town the sense that it is just a bit removed from the rest of the earth. Time is slower, faces more relaxed. It’s good to be somewhere like this for a little while. Just a pause really, to catch my breath.<\/p>\n
