{"id":15369,"date":"2014-10-31T21:10:54","date_gmt":"2014-11-01T02:10:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.kenperlin.com\/?p=15369"},"modified":"2014-10-31T21:11:22","modified_gmt":"2014-11-01T02:11:22","slug":"halloween-in-new-york","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.kenperlin.com\/?p=15369","title":{"rendered":"Halloween in New York"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>It was All Hallows Eve, and out on the street<br \/>\nSome people were walking in big Hobbit feet.<br \/>\nOn Broadway I saw all those kids from Divergent<br \/>\nRight next to a large walking box of detergent.<br \/>\nA young woman sporting Malificent horns<br \/>\nPassed by a trio of pink candy corns,<br \/>\nWhile two little boys came as Tonto and Kato<br \/>\n(Their dad was a very large killer tomato).<br \/>\nI counted eleven young men dressed as Sheldon<br \/>\nWhile one woman showed up as Barbara Feldon.<br \/>\nNobody knew who that was (which is sad),<br \/>\nExcept for Delphine, up from Marienbad.<br \/>\nRight after spotting both Minnie and Micky,<br \/>\nI saw a guy dressed as an open source wiki,<br \/>\nWhile his friend was a scale in Aeolian mode.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m not sure but I think this was some sort of code.<br \/>\nThere were Wookies and Trekkies, a green kiwi fruit,<br \/>\nAnd a rather tall guy who would only say &#8220;Groot!&#8221;<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Tonight old New York was the best place to be.<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; If you were there too, I am sure you&#8217;ll agree!<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was All Hallows Eve, and out on the street Some people were walking in big Hobbit feet.
