So many interesting terms and definitions!  I confess, the first time I ever saw the word &#8220;polymath&#8221; I thought it meant somebody who is good at algebra, geometry and calculus.  In that spirit, herewith a short lexicon based on a misinterpretation of some very nice words.  Feel free to add more!<\/p>\n<p><i>Ambidextrous<\/i>: Able to use any sugar.<\/p>\n<p><i>Circumspect<\/i>: Examine from all angles.<\/p>\n<p><i>Consequential<\/i>: In reverse order.<\/p>\n<p><i>Extraneous<\/i>: Outside a locomotive.<\/p>\n<p><i>Impeccable<\/i>: Beak-proof.<\/p>\n<p><i>Kinescope<\/i>: Tool for visualizing your family tree.<\/p>\n<p><i>Oxymoron<\/i>: What you become when your brain goes without air for too long.<\/p>\n<p><i>Parasympathetic<\/i>: Approving of very lightweight aircraft.<\/p>\n<p><i>Penultimate<\/i>: Bic or Mont Blanc, platinum edition.<\/p>\n<p><i>Ponderous<\/i>: Thoughtful.<\/p>\n<p><i>Postulate<\/i>: Create blisters.<\/p>\n<p><i>Proliferate<\/i>: Argue against abortion.<\/p>\n<p><i>Stagnation<\/i>: Country of bachelors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I loved all of the thoughtful comments on my Artist \/ Scientist post.
