This week our epic poem takes an ominous turn:<\/p>\n<pre><em><big>\r\nMoments may sway us, but kisses betray us, \r\nFor fate won't obey us, and oft goes astray\r\n\r\nTwas fateful that meeting, two hearts fiercely beating\r\nBut alas, joy is fleeting when stolen away\r\n\r\nIn a turn most appalling the darkness came calling\r\nFor a curse was befalling, a thing of their fears\r\n\r\nAnd a figure demonic - it was almost iconic -\r\nIn voice monotonic said: \"Seventeen years!\"\r\n\r\nIt was all rather vexing, and sorely perplexing,\r\nThis grim specter hexing their love most sublime\r\n\r\n\"What be you?\" they wondered, then the night air was sundered\r\nAs the dark figure thundered: \"The demon - of Time!\"\r\n\r\n<\/big><\/em><\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new month, and as it happens, a Friday.
