I have made up my mind
To refuse to decide
And now know for certain
I must let things ride
I shall not choose a side
I will not take the bait
I’m decisively choosing
To stand by and wait
It is such a relief
To have taken a stand
To just watch the ball drop
From right out of my hand
While others might dither
And think they must choose
I have heard the alarm
And have set it on snooze
For life is adventure
And life is a choice
Knowing when to step forward
And raise up one’s voice
My friends, I have opted
With calm and precision
To choose one true path.
In a word: Indecision
