Remember to breathe

There are some days that are so crazy busy, so wall to wall, so jam packed with back-to-back meetings and things to get done, that you don’t have time to breathe.

For me, today has been one of those days.

Must remember to breathe…

  1. Among all the beautiful and soulful inventions and contraptions of mankind, we are always so busy shaping things we can grab with our hands that we forget that balance matters. We’ve been shaping our surroundings and transforming the world into a beautiful extension of our personalities and passions with science, mathematics, engineering, but we constantly forget to shape ourselves. We’re not meeting our context in the middle of the road. There’s a lot of truncation, the permutations in the contrast between inspiration and execution of any task or thought are not evenly distributed. There are a lot of rough edges in the details of the big picture we call life. Maybe breathing can be some form of quintic smoothing.
