Thirty days has September
That’s very easy to remember
I like it more than thirty one
And now that this month has begun
It’s easy to divide its days
In various and useful ways
Perhaps in groups of two or three
Or five or six — it seems to me
I’m better organized in time
On months whose days are not a prime
