Fish tales

I’m curious to see what kinds of fish tales people might make. So I’ve given you the ability to save the tales that you create.

In this version, you can choose one of 42 tales to tell. You can also visit and modify anybody else’s fish tale.

Of course, if somebody creates a really amazing and wondrous tale, I hope the rest of you will recognize how cool it is and not mess it up. 🙂

Hmm…how do you save it? I thought I created one at 23 (by clicking on 23 and then creating a timeline), but then I deleted the window and tried clicking on the above image again and it doesn’t seem to be there. I am not lamenting the loss of my “masterpiece”. Just wondering how this is supposed to work.

I think there was a bug, which I think I’ve now fixed. Sorry about that! Let me know whether it works for you now.

Well, there are lots of animations there now. I tried again at 23, but when I went back to look at it it was someone else’s. It might help to highlight the numbers that have something in their timelines, both to see what’s available and to help people not accidentally stomp on each other’s stuff.

OTOH, it seems very Zen to have it be about creating and not about saving the creation. Like virtual sand mandalas ( 🙂

Wow, the animation is so cool. I wonder if I can create a similar one.
Ken, is your code available somewhere? Or it is just the demo.
