Computer programming as literature

This computer program:

      happiness = you + me;
      loneliness = me – you;
      narcissism = me + me;

computes the following interesting result:

      happiness = narcissism – loneliness

But is it art?

    Math was never my strongest subject, but doesn’t (me – you) – 2me leave you with -me – you, i.e., -happiness?

  2. admin says:

    Ah, you are right. Fixed now. Thanks so much for checking my math. :-)

    art = label
    possibility = lots + a little
    limits = a little – lots
    label = a little + a little

    –> label = possibility + limits

    this comment = clever + interesting
    this comment = manu – beautiful

    ->

    manu = clever + interesting + beautiful

    I tried running the code, but I just got a null reference exception.

    I feel your pain. Real life needs a better IDE.
