I must admit I still don’t see the connection between Mel and bee keeper.
I had Mel as the male model, and ended up with Fox for bee keeper. Except in the term “silver fox,” my exposure to the slang term “fox” (an attractive person) was almost always used in reference to women. Online, I found a supplier of apiary equipment called Foxhound, so I figured Fox was the bee keeper.
