Happy New Year everyone!! Today marks the fifth anniversary of this daily blog.

Or, to put it another way, this is my one thousand eight hundred and twenty eighth consecutive post. Whew!

I’m not sure what it all means, except perhaps that 2013 is an auspicious year.
